Mark piloted his Cessna 150L from Tracy, CA to Schaumburg, IL and arrived on July 2nd, 2003.   Mark flew to Chicago to spend the 4th of July Holiday with family and was proud to have accomplished this flight solo. While taking his plane out for a short flight on July 8th, Mark's plane crashed and he died tragically at approximately 1:24 pm about 0.25 miles from the runway.  Mark was an accomplished pilot with an instrument rating, he was an outstanding athlete, a musician, highly educated, and much much more.

Mark loved to spend time with people.  Mark made it a point to remember special dates and events of all his friends and family and would do his best to celebrate each with great enthusiasm.  No matter the occasion, Mark considered each one special enough to remember.  In fact, Mark loved taking pictures and sharing his experiences with others.  He would not settle with showing the pictures, unless he could spend the time to give them meaning by providing explanation and narration.   Sadly, Mark is not here to narrate the following photo video of his life... nonetheless, I felt compelled to create a collection of photos capturing his entire life.  I invite you to click play and experience the memories throughout the life of my brother, Mark.
